DTC in system – P0171 Fuel system lean b1, P0174 Fuel system lean b2, P0300 Engine misfire detected. tech found hose going to brake booster oil saturated – hose had come off – no longer tight to stay on due to oil. Advised to replace and recheck after.
Reset Fuel trims
upon removal of intake – tech found hose going to back of intake elbo broken. – advised to replace. Advised customer that PCV is part of intake. Hoses contaminated with oil due to PCV system failure. Customer given option to replace while intake is off.
Tech used mass air flow sensor customer had in trunk – Mass air flow in trunk was a GM part. Tech cleaned and installed. Once Mass air flow sensor installed, tech was able to set fuel trims.

Battery dead – changed battery and tested charging system to find that alternator low output 11.66v. Advised would need alternator. Upon removal of radiator hoses – tech found radiator plastic connector brittle and breaking apart.
